What is Supima Cotton?

Supima® cotton is a rare, premium fiber grown exclusively in the United States on about 500 family-owned farms, many passed down through generations with a deep commitment to soil health and water conservation. Representing less than 1% of the world’s cotton, Supima is defined by its extra-long staple fibers—about 1.5 inches compared to the 1 inch of regular cotton—which give it enhanced properties that include:

  • Twice the strength of typical cotton
  • Resistance to pilling and warping
  • A naturally luxurious feel that becomes even softer with wear
  • Deep and even absorption of dye, ensuring rich, vibrant color that endures wash after wash
